next Kerberos ops/admin teleconference August 2

Tom Yu

Kerberos operators and administrators are invited to a public monthly
operations-focused teleconference.  These take place the first Tuesday
of each month at 13:00 (1:00pm) US Eastern Time.  The next one will be
on August 2.

This is an opportunity for operators or administrators of Kerberos
deployments to share their Kerberos operational experiences with
Kerberos developers and each other.  Although the primary developers in
attendance are developers of MIT Kerberos, as a Consortium activity, we
welcome discussion of experiences that operators or administrators have
with other implementations.

The WebEx information (including telephone-only access) is below.  If
you want to join the online portion of the meeting, e.g., if you want to
use your computer for meeting audio, the meeting password will be sent
to this list on the day of the meeting.  You may also request the
meeting password directly from me.

Current information about this teleconference, including notes from
previous sessions, can be found at:

http://k5wiki.kerberos.org/wiki/Ops_feedback_teleconference

Proposed topics for 2016-08-02:

* reverse DNS for host principal canonicalization -- usability tradeoffs

* how to consolidate per-principal settings of ticket policy to a policy
  object, e.g., ticket lifetimes

You can forward this invitation to others.
